We would like to invite artists, cultural and historical non-profits, creative businesses, tourist attractions, restaurants and the general public to become members and ambassadors for the ARTS. Your membership is very important to us.
Windham Arts’ mission is to develop and support the promotion of the Arts, Cultural Resources, Tourism, and Economic Development of the Northeast Connecticut Region. Windham Arts strives to create authentic collaboration between the creative community and businesses, legislators, municipalities and the public.
Why Join Windham ARTS?
We support the northeast arts & cultural community, and it’s diverse population. We want to stimulate the economy in our region by supporting and promoting YOU. By supporting Windham Arts with your $25.00 membership, you can help to ensure that arts and culture remains central to the lives of people in northeast Connecticut.
When you become a member of Windham Arts, you will receive the following benefits:
• Listing in the Creative Directory – List your profile, links, logos, photographs. and a listing under memberships at www.WindhamARTS.org.
• Coordinated Marketing – List your events on our website and in the weekly newsletter. Current events, Call to Artists, workshops, national, state and regional opportunities that are marketed to an audience in the northeast and beyond. Community Partners are also randomly featured in a special section of the newsletter.
• Networking Opportunities – Quarterly Informational Meetings in four hubs throughout the region – Continually assess the needs of our constituents, allow for networking where cultural leaders can share ideas, gather information and form collaborative professional relationships that are sustained in cultural and cross-sector relationships
• Awareness of relevant services, programs and grant opportunities offered by the CT Office of the Arts and other granting organizations.
• Advocacy at the state level with legislators, local representatives and municipalities.
• Special member prices and advance notice of Windham ARTS events including openings, networking and professional development events.
• Priority as a guest on WILI weekly radio show and priority feature stories in the newsletter and CHAT, Culture, History, Arts & Tourism magazine. Over 10,000 copies are distributed biannually.
