What a terrific summer it’s been! Across every corner of our state, our tourism partners have welcomed millions of visitors this season.
Our new CTvisit.com site also been welcoming lots of visitors. In fact, site traffic is up 79% over last summer — nearly 1.8 million visitors in three months alone. And from our site, we’ve sent more than 1/2 million calls, clicks and web visits directly to our industry partners.
Now, we’re inviting visitors to Find Fall Faster in Connecticut! This autumn, we’re focused on convincing our neighboring state residents that they don’t have to travel any farther than Connecticut to see peak foliage PLUS experience everything else that makes fall such a special season here in New England. Please join us in encouraging people to Find Fall Faster right here in CT.
As always, thanks for all you do for Connecticut Tourism!
Check out the fall refresh of CTvisit.com! You’ll see we’ve updated imagery throughout the site. Now we’re featuring listings with fall images. To boost your chances of being featured on our site as well as promoted through our social posts/PR outreach, be sure to freshen up your listing with photos of your property/attraction during the fall season as well as any related activities, such as pumpkins, hayrides, apple picking.
And if you’re planning any fall-themed deals, packages or special offers, now’s the time to get them on to the site, too!
It’s back…The Big E is Sept. 16 to Oct. 2 this year. Representatives from the Connecticut Office of Tourism will be there to welcome the 800,000+ visitors that will likely pass through our Connecticut Building at The Big E.
Make sure those visitors have an opportunity to see your promotional literature — by giving us copies of your brochures to give away at our Connecticut Office of Tourism booth. If you’re interested, please contact Rosemary Bove at (860) 256-2725.
