Artists’ Open Studios of Northeastern Connecticut will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, February 16, 1 pm at the Chaplin Senior Center, 132 Chaplin Street, Chaplin, CT. New artists considering joining this widely known and well-established tour are invited to attend along with returning artists. Art must be original, designed and made by the artist. Please bring an example of your work to share with the meeting.
AOS was begun in 1988 to give the community the opportunity to meet local artists and learn about their work and processes. Participating artists welcome the public into their studios and to the group shows they organize throughout the Quiet Corner during Thanksgiving Weekend and the first weekend in December.
Visitors come from all over the state, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and beyond, many of them to shop as well as learn about the art.
