I’m a retired freelance illustrator, graphic designer and cartoonist with over 60 years of national commercial experience. I teach watercolor workshops every Tuesday at 9:am and 12:pm in my home. Jean Henderson uses photography to help maintain her stress levels that stem from her bipolar disorder. She believes that ART HEALS — for both the creator and the viewer. Her primary goal is to offer hope to other mental health clients and their families that healing is more than possible. Recently, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer so her people now also include other cancer patients as she moves through this additional journey.

Charles paints landscapes of wild places, still waters, and flowing rivers. From mountains to the sea nature motivates his work, as well as a love of small boats, old barns and fly fishing.

Delia Berlin was born and raised in Argentina but has spent most of her life in Connecticut. Her professional career has focused on education and administration. With graduate degrees in both Physics and Family Studies, she also worked in early intervention and taught child development at the college level. With her children’s writing Delia seeks to spark new insights and to convey joy through age-appropriate humor, while expanding vocabulary and social skills. In addition to children’s books, she also wrote the parrot care book and co-authored essay collections with her husband, artist David Corsini.

Gabrielle Zane is a performer, writer, and visual artist. Ms. Zane holds an M.F.A. from Bennington College. She is a Teaching Artist for the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism and is an artist-in-residence in schools throughout New England. She has toured with the Poetry Alive performance troupe and is a fonder and member of the spoken word group Zeno’s Eros. She holds a studio at 31 Moulton Court, Willimantic, CT. Ms. Zane has a chapbook of poems, Being Your Eyes from Curbstone Press.
Connecticut artist Jane Collins paints in a fluid, painterly style. Collins’ bright paintings in oil and watercolor reflect her of all things rural: woodlands, gardens, farms, flowers and birds.
At the UCONN School of Fine Arts, Collins studied drawing, design, oil painting and watercolor. Subsequent oil painting workshops with working artists Foster Caddell, David Lussier and Shauna Shane have further refined her skills and influenced her style.
Collins’ work can be found in numerous private and corporate collections. ten of her barn paintings are in the permanent collection of Eastern Connecticut State University, in Willimantic, Connecticut.
Collins’ work is frequently available at the Lyme Art Association Gallery in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
