



Daniel Donaghy is a Professor of English at Eastern Connecticut State University. He is the author of the poetry collections Somerset (NYQ Books), Start with the Trouble (University of Arkansas Press, 2009), winner of the Paterson Award for Literary Excellence, and Streetfighting (BkMk Press, 2005). He has received grants from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism Artist and the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts as well as the Southern Humanities Review’s Theodore Christian Hoepfner Award. Raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was recently named the first Poet Laureate of Windham and is edits, with his students, Here: a poetry journal.
Bilingual Children’s Books
Delia Berlin was born and raised in Argentina but has spent most of her life in Connecticut. Her professional career has focused on education and administration. With graduate degrees in both Physics and Family Studies, she also worked in early intervention and taught child development at the college level. With her children’s writing Delia seeks to spark new insights and to convey joy through age-appropriate humor, while expanding vocabulary and social skills. In addition to children’s books, she also wrote the parrot care book and co-authored essay collections with her husband, artist David Corsini.

Gabrielle Zane is a performer, writer, and visual artist. Ms. Zane holds an M.F.A. from Bennington College. She is a Teaching Artist for the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism and is an artist-in-residence in schools throughout New England. She has toured with the Poetry Alive performance troupe and is a fonder and member of the spoken word group Zeno’s Eros. She holds a studio at 31 Moulton Court, Willimantic, CT. Ms. Zane has a chapbook of poems, Being Your Eyes from Curbstone Press.
