MEMBERSHIP with the Collaborative is open to everyone - individual artists, families, students, arts related institutions, and businesses and/or arts organizations who support our activity and objectives.

2009 ANNUAL DUES: (renewable each January)
  • Individual Artists $50.00 - Members who volunteer 5 hours each year are credited $15 toward next year's dues.
  • NEW in 2009! Affiliated Artists - Individuals who are current members of Artists Open Studios, Windham Regional Arts Council, Artspace (artist residents only), Windham Theater Guild, Avery Ensemble, Willimantic Renaissance. $25.00 (Please include up to date proof of your affiliation with payment.)
  • Family  $75.00 - two individuals per address minimum.
  • Students with current ID:   $20.00
  • Affiliate Organizations $250.00 - Regular participation and/or contribution to committee work reduces membership fees the following year.
** ARE YOUR DUES CURRENT? Effective January 1, 2009, membership fees will come due each January.
  • Dues owed from July 2008 onward, will be prorated on a monthly basis.
  • Those renewing with dates before July 2009 will be credited. 
  • Prorated monthly amounts are:
                   Individual artists $ 4.16 per month
                   Families:             $ 6.25 per month
                   Organizations:     $20.83 per month

The Board of Directors meet 10x year, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except July and December, on the second floor of the center, either in the Annex or the meeting areas.

     Facility: Renovations to the first phase (2nd floor) are ongoing. We need help with painting! If you have time to spare during the week, or are interested in fulfilling participation requirements (5 hrs annually) for your membership level, please contact us to schedule a convenient time.

Member Benefits:

  • Network with other artists for news and information at event and gallery receptions, during the new Creativity Workshops (1st Weds - 5:30 pm), on our member bulletin boards in the center, and on this website.
  • Receive free or reduced rates to professional development workshops,  seminars, and other fee-based events sponsored by the Collaborative.
  • Participate in the Annual Membership Show, or step up to apply for a solo show in the Main Gallery by submitting an exhibit proposal for review and selection by our Program Committee.
  • Share your creative endeavors in unjuried and uncensored galleries in the Annex, our performance venue (presently undergoing renovation thru Jan '09), and other publicized community events and locations throughout the year - free!
  • Use the Center. Use our bulletin boards and display racks to share your activity. You'll also be eligible for free or reduced rates to give lessons, plan group meetings, activities, and more. (Date and time sensitive.)
  • You'll automatically receive an Electronic Newsletter, receive exhibit, event, and funding opportunities and announcements.
  • Access our Mailing List to market your event or activity to over 1000 names and addresses which can be targeted to the area of your choice. $30 fee applies. Members only.
  • Access our Bulk Rate Mail Permit for your arts and community related events. (Certain conditions apply but you can really save $$'s !)
