Duane V. Gamble, a resident of Hampton, CT., just published a new book for
Visual Artisans, Crafts Persons and Creative Professionals entitled:
The Visual Arts Resource Manual, How to Find Information, Materials, and
Services for Your Photography, Art, Crafts and Small Business Promotional
Projects.
While formerly a Groton, CT resident, Mr. Gamble was very involved in the
shoreline art communities of Mystic, New London, CT and Westerly, RI .
Frustrated with locating products and services to assist in creating his
line of fine art photographs and handmade New England photo products, Mr.
Gamble developed an extensive catalog of resources for manufacturing,
packaging, and marketing his photographic line. While participating and
viewing outdoor area art shows, Mr. Gamble received great satisfaction in
helping other visual artisans and creative professionals find resources for
purchasing art show display equipment and promotional materials. From
speaking to many artists over the years, Mr. Gamble realized a need for a
comprehensive collection of business resources solely for artists,
photographers, crafts persons and self employed creative persons.
Mr. Gamble specializes in Commercial, Stock, Environmental, and Fine Art
Photography. He¹s a general member of The American Society of Media
Photographers (ASMP), International Association of Panoramic Photographers
(IAPP), Mira.com, and an has memberships with the PMA, Mystic Arts Center,
Windham Arts Collaborative and Mindsisland.com.
