So Many Reasons to Give.
It’s always gratifying to be recognized for one’s work and at the WindhamARTS Collaborative we work hard to bring a wide spectrum of visual and performance art, workshops, events, and services to artists and arts organizations, and the community. We also strive to bring sustainable economic development to our community, and love the challenge of doing more with less...and doing it with style!
The effort is paying off. Attendance figures increase each season for our gallery exhibits and Annex events, as well as to films and performances that we facilitate at the Capitol Theater. We provide a creative boost to the community by presenting Community Arts Forums, produce public art projects like Frogfest ‘05 and support the continued development of community festivals like the Romantic Willimantic Chocolate Festival, to name a few.
Operating with an infusion of innovative ideas and raw energy, and combining the advantages of a dedicated and resourceful staff and Board along with some Nutmegger ingenuity, we offer programs and events with increasing frequency. In the end however, ingenuity and thrift only get us so far, so we also rely on our community's support to help sustain our programming and our ongoing needs for renovating and improving our space.
Consider making a cash donation, equipment or services now to support the Arts in our creative and not-so-quiet-Corner of Connecticut! Your recognition of our hard work will help us to sustain our ongoing efforts.
