As a Participating Artist I’m involved in music performance with a love of traditional, country and older pop music. My main activity is “Perfect Partners”, a duo with wife Noreen. Since 1994 we’ve put on entertaining shows in a variety of venues, featuring Noreen’s singing and my singing, fiddling, and guitar playing, in styles ranging from traditional to early rock and roll.
Since 1994 “Thread City String Band” (usually two fiddles, guitar, and harmonica) entertains similarly to “Perfect Partners”, recently playing square and contra dances with the addition of bass fiddle.
“Les Jois de Quebec” specializes in French-Canadian and Irish tunes. This group of 3 to 8 fiddles plus guitar and harmonica has performed at the Willimantic 3rd Thursday Street Festival, the Hygienic Arts Park Stage in New London, and ECSU.
In 2005 we started “Quiet Corner Fiddlers”, a weekly fiddle sessions
