WindhamARTS Main Gallery
Current Exhibit


Don't miss an exhibit of drawings by dedicated artists who meet regularly at night, once a week, to draw from the human figure in at ECSU. GO FIGURE, a selection of work by the Windham Figure Drawing Group will be on display March 7 through March 27th. Come out and see the work of these fine artists.

MUSE NEWS: March 2008

The current exhibit in Muse Le Belle Artiste has been extended to March 30.   The Four Seasons showcases works by four award-winning Connecticut artists: Emine Cichowski, Catherine M. Elliott, Carol Frances Foley, and Anne Hebebrand.

Special events at the Muse in March will include:
     
• Impressionistic Oil Painting Demonstration with Catherine M. Elliott
Sunday, March 9, 2-3:30 pm  
$15 per person

• Gentle Kripalu Yoga with Sharon Coriaty  
Sunday, March 16, 4-5:30 pm
Instruction will include sitting comfortably and correctly, meditation, breathing exercises, and other techniques design to erase tension.

DEVELOPING AN ARTIST'S STATEMENT
with panelists Colleen Coleman and Sal Scalora

Led by veteran arts administrators this special panel conversation will provide the tools you need to create your own statement in order to enlighten potential buyers, exhibition curators, fellow artists, critics and browsers alike with insights from your creative world – your philosophy and vision. A must-do exercise for visual and performing artists. Registrations must be received by April 9.
