I am a painter and photographer, working mainly in oil and pastel. My style ranges from realism to impressionism, with landscape, still life, and florals as my main subject matter.  I am working with a printer to have professional giclee prints made of some of my paintings so that I can offer a greater range of pricing options. I’ve had several solo shows and have been in many juried exhibitions in the New England region.

My formal studies included two stints at the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts, in 1968-69, and again in the early eighties.  However, found I preferred studying with working professional artists, and studied with Sonja Weber, Colette Butterick, and  Foster Caddell.

My studio is open during the Artists’ Open Studio Tours and by appointment. Commissions by negotiation.  Private students accepted on a monthly basis.
