April 2008: Toward Illumination: Gabrielle Zane |

 What do
three artists from Bloomfield, Uncasville, and Willimantic have in
common? Their work has influenced Gabrielle Zane, an emerging artist
living in Willimantic. Ms. Zane’s unique work in encaustic and
photography will be exhibited at the WindhamARTS Collaborative from
April 4th to April 24th, 2008.
The show,
Toward Illumination simultaneously includes the work of Devon Lawless,
Janine Evers-Drena, and Rita Dawley, three area artists who have played
an inspirational role in the development of Zane’s art.
An opening
reception is planned for Friday April 4th, from 5-7 p.m. and is free
and open to the public. Exhibit hours are Tues – Thurs., 1 – 6 p.m.,
and Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m.
