From the Willimantic Fire Department: Poetry Contest!
In keeping with their location in the middle of the Arts District, and in celebration of Poetry Month, the Willimantic Fire Department is hosting a Poetry Contest and Poets of any age may submit.
Submissions should have a reference to the Willimantic Fire Department, and be no longer than one 8 & ˝” x 11” page. Submitter’s name and contact information should be on the reverse of the page.
The winner will be recognized as the “Official Poet of the Willimantic Fire Department for 2008,” and have their picture and poem mounted in the fire station. Submission deadline is June1st.
