Special Notice Regarding CTvisit.com
Connecticut’s official tourism website, www.CTvisit.com, is going through some exciting enhancements over the next few months as we prepare for the peak summer travel season. Please be aware that this evening we will be moving several new upgrades from the development staging area to the live site.
• CTvisit.com will be unavailable for a brief time this evening as changes are made to the backend. It will be brought back online as soon as the upgrades are complete and verified.
• The CTvisit Partner Management System used to post your updates, travel deals and photos will not be available to you beginning this evening until tomorrow afternoon while the migration is occurring. Please do not log on to CTvisit Partner CMS from 5:00 p.m. today through 3:00 p.m. tomorrow. This is to insure that your new information and updates will not be lost.
We thank you in advance for your patience and we will keep you up to date on our ongoing changes to CTvisit.com.
June 8, 2013 – Connecticut Open House Day
Don’t miss this once a year opportunity. Act now and register before April 8th to be eligible to receive complimentary promotional Open House Day banners and/or lawn signs. The Connecticut Office of Tourism (COT) is sponsoring the 9th annual Connecticut Open House Day on Saturday, June 8. The one-day statewide event is designed to showcase Connecticut’s diverse world of history, art, film and tourism to Connecticut residents. Last year more than 200 participants rolled out the welcome mat to state residents with special incentives such as free or discounted admission, special activities or exhibits and/or free gifts.
While you can continue to sign up after the 8th and be listed as a participating property on CTvisit.com, organizations will receive more promotional value the sooner you register. Visit our website at www.cultureandtourism.org for details on how to participate, along with valuable resources to make your Open House Day a success!
