This is an opportunity for residents, chefs, merchants, and institutions to meet local farmers and look ahead to the upcoming growing season. All are welcome to this free event.
Attendees will learn about the myriad of ways they can buy fresh, local fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, honey, soap, and fibers. There will be farmers marketing their farm stands, wholesale businesses, farmers’ markets, and community supported agriculture (CSA) shares. Additionally, there will be food and farm products available for purchase, a seed swap table and several local not-for-profit organizations that support agricultural related activities for residents such as community gardens and educational programs for children and adults.
