The Connecticut Dept. of Economic and Community Development Office of the Arts has joined with Connecticut Sea Grant to enhance their Arts Support Awards Program. All artistic disciplines are eligible, including visual, performing, literature, composition, film, etc. One or more awards will be made to an artist or group of artists through this competitive funding program. The maximum amount of any award is $1,000. The winning submission will be selected on the basis of aesthetic quality, relevance to coastal and marine environments and Connecticut Sea Grant themes, as well as its potential impact on non-traditional audiences.
Deadline: Applications must be received by 4:30 pm on Monday, May 11, 2020
Eligibility: Artists who live in Connecticut, or whose work is related to Connecticut’s coast and marine environments or Long Island Sound. Note that awardees selected to receive DECD funds must be CT residents.
