Arts Center East is home to a rich artistic community. We value our Artist Members, and we invite you to visit our Artist Members page. We are a place where visual artists from across the state and beyond exhibit and sell their work through juried shows and member exhibits. Unique creations of pottery, jewelry, wood crafts, and other gifts made by local artisans fill our year-round gift shop and annual holiday sale. Musical and theatrical performances delight audiences of all ages, and our classrooms are pulsing with the joy of artistic discovery. We are the heart of the arts east of the river.
Since its founding in 2015, the AAC has set its agenda on increasing support for local artists and promoting interest in and the availability of a variety of arts for both students and folks in our community. We are a group of citizens who love our community and strive to keep it vibrant and interesting. As a way of featuring local artists and craftspeople, we hold the Holiday Artists’ Market each fall, a fundraiser Dinner Dance in the spring, monthly workshops and this year we are adding in a juried show in the summer of 2020. We strive to bring the arts, the artists, and the community together.
