
I create hand-painted fused glass earrings and pendants inspired by nature. I began fusing glass in 2007 and developed my own techniques of painting on glass.


Maggie Kendis is a printmaker, who works primarily in linoleum cut prints. Each piece is printed onto rice paper, then scanned to a heavier
stock paper and hand colored with watercolor. Her pieces are mainly of animals, birds, of nature and vignettes of life around her. After being asked to create custom pet portraits for friends, a new line began. Custom pet portraits began as just that, printed and framed works. But from there, pieces developed into cards, earrings, pins and pendants. The working with mixed media, then lead to a line of prints mounted and embellished on wooden pieces reminiscent of Mexican retablos. These were little paintings on tin and wood, hung in the houses of people honoring their saints.
