Since its creation in 1963 by Bob and Virginia Booth, the golden lamb buttery has become one of Connecticut’s most exquisite, creative and memorable dining experiences.
An evening begins as guests are welcomed for coctails in the old red barn-a space brimming with antiques, memorabilia, and family treasures. The barn’s deck promises a lovely scene of the pond and the sheep, horses & cows grazing in the pastures. Dinner time arrives and guests are led into the restaurant through a tiny kitchen, filled with amazing aromas, where their meal is being prepared. They are shown to one of three charming dining rooms and are invited to dine and relax until the candles burn down.
The Golden Lamb is ideal for Business luncheons, Meeting and Casual gatherings.
One seating, Friday and Saturday evenings. Before dinner, guests can enjoy coctails on a hayride around the thousand-acre farm. A guitar serenade accompanies the passengers as they are pulled through the fields by tractors. Hayrides begjn at 7:00 pm and continue until everyone has had a ride. A four-star dinner is served while live music fills the room.
The Golden Lamb Buttery is available for your catering needs, and Unique Dinner Parties, Coctail Receptions, Bridal and Baby Showers, Drop Off Catering, Corporate Catering and Boxed Lunches.
